A short sequence from my imagined film; ‘Drug Squad.’ I will be applying the genre conventions of Neo Noir whilst using elements of Thriller. My target audience is therefore males aged 18 and over with love of violence, sex and drugs.
My aim will be to
explore my knowledge gained from FM1 research of cinematography and also to
explore the codes and conventions of Neo Noir and Thrillers. The influences of
my imagined sequence are the use of cinematography in ‘Blade Runners’ but the
violence of ‘L.A Confidential.’ In order to complete this I am going to write,
direct and edit my sequence.
