Looking into Neo Noir opening credits:
Chinatown - 1974
Chinatown credits, written in 1974 are very plain, they use little background imaging however, the use of the gold text and the gold background reinforces the themes of the film.
Blade Runner - 1982
The opening credits of Blade Runner using a hybrid of Sci-Fi and Neo Noir, the beginning of this film explains the previous things going on, giving the audience an understanding of what is going on. The speech states a synopsis of all the things that have gone on, and put them in a position to understand Harrison Fords character.
